Joe’s Castle blew me away with its quick breakfast service, crisp sheets, tranquil vibe, and safe spot. The property was spotless, quiet, and nearly insect‑free, offering almost everything you need for a relaxing stay. I doubt you’ll find a better place nearby! A few issues: the toilet can’t handle paper and there’s no warning, which could cause a clog. The second‑floor ceiling is very low—at 5'10" I was almost touching the fan, so I had to turn it off for safety. The hot tub was broken, exposed to the elements, and full of dead insects, so it was unusable.

I was only 2 km from the Sagbayan market, and the breakfast was good. The property looked nice with a great view, and the price‑performance ratio was solid. Everything else was fine.

“Feel like a KING at Joes Castle!”

The stay was amazing—better than any other in the Philippines. Every part of our visit was enjoyable, and the staff were EXTREMELY helpful and understanding; I truly appreciated their assistance. I would jokingly say it was a “humorous opinion” rather than a dislike, but my Filipino family mentioned that the complimentary breakfast required two scoops of rice with the dish—lol, rice is life.

The room was very clean and came with a microwave and hair dryer. It was very peaceful and the service excellent! It felt a bit remote, but we loved it.
