Wij hebben 8 overnachtingen gehad bij La Pausa en hebben het geweldig gehad. Marina en Stefano zijn enorm aardig en gastvrij. De locatie is heerlijk rustig en het uitzicht is prachtig. Marina verzorgt iedere ochtend een heerlijke ontbijt, met iedere dag andere zelfgemaakte lekkernij. Alles is heel goed verzorgd en heel schoon. Je auto kun je parkeren op het afgesloten terrein. Marina heeft veel goede tips over bezienswaardigheden op het eiland, daar hebben wij veel aan gehad. De B&B ligt op ongeveer 7 minuten rijden van het centrum en de haven van Portoferraio. Volgend jaar is er tevens een zwembad, dat was nu nog in aanbouw. Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad op Elba en hopen zeker nog eens terug te gaan naar La Pausa!

From the moment I arrived, the gate opened and the home‑like atmosphere kicked in, thanks to Marina and Stefano who greeted me warmly and made me feel instantly comfortable; the room was so spacious it could almost be called an apartment, equipped with everything you might need for your stay, and every morning Marina delighted us with a breakfast she prepared herself, offering both sweet and savory dishes that were delicious and authentic—my wife even asked for the recipes to recreate them at home. We came from Scandiano, RE, and Marina’s grandparents were actually from our town, which was a real surprise; the location is strategic, close to Portoferraio with all its services and surrounding beaches, each more beautiful than the last, and we rode our mountain bikes on seven nearby trails starting from Le Viste beach up to Sansone—highly recommend staying at this B&B if you’re passing through Portoferraio; we had a fantastic time. Posto meraviglioso, lontano dal traffico ma vicino alle spiagge più belle. Marina e Stefano sono stati gentilissimi e dolcissimi. Le colazioni di Marina sono eccezionali, tra dolce e salato. Tornerò sicuramente! Wonderful place, away from the traffic yet close to the most beautiful beaches. Marina and Stefano were incredibly kind and sweet. Marina's breakfasts are exceptional, with both sweet and savory options. I will definitely be back!
