“Great Expectations - Big Letdown”

Nothing The building was shut down for refurbishment.

The property broke down one night before the arrival and was unreachable when I tried to contact them.

“Weird scam vibes”

Nothing; they cancelled my reservation on the same day, hours before the booking. They called me saying there was an emergency leak, and I asked if they had another property nearby. I told them it was their fault; they promised a refund. Now they ignore my messages and I’m still waiting for the property to release the funds. I didn’t even stay.

They didn’t respond on time. I booked at 41 pm in the afternoon, and when I reached the property manager he said we couldn’t account for it due to an emergency. They didn’t inform me of this emergency promptly. They told me to cancel the booking, which I did immediately, but I haven’t received my refund yet – it’s been about 48 hours and they also didn’t answer my call. I think it’s a scam. Beware.

Nothing The property cancelled my booking at the last minute without any explanation, so they keep accusing me of cancelling. I asked for a refund and they replied it’s not standard. The property never responded, so I had to find an alternative quickly, while someone keeps my money for a room I never saw. Speaking to a person is impossible; all I get is a chatbot.
