“D-Resort Göcek is a fabulous, luxurious place for an unforgettable vacation in the mediterranean”
The hotel and its setting were beautiful, and the beach called "Marin Göcek" was quite expansive; the nearby restaurant D'Breeze served delicious food. Staff, especially the buggy drivers, were attentive. Breakfast at Olives was impressive, and we were greeted in our room with a cake and a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The room offered a stunning pool view from a spacious balcony that also looked out onto the marina. The pool area stayed quiet, likely because guests preferred the private beach, which we definitely used. The resort vibe was complete, and the departure day breakfast was extensive. This was the first of seven hotels in our three‑week trip across two countries that met our "to a T" request. The halva slabs, fresh fruit boxes (oranges, grapefruit, honeydew), and freshly squeezed orange juice were a highlight—no other hotel could match that early morning experience. D-Resort Göcek was delightful throughout. The only drawback was the Q Lounge; it didn’t live up to D'Breeze and Olives. We’ve enjoyed Peruvian and Japanese elsewhere, but Q Lounge’s attempt to blend them fell flat, and the dinner we anticipated was hugely disappointing. I hope D-Resort improves this aspect, as everything else was exceptional.
