“very good value, friendly staff, loads of parking”

A young lady greeted us at arrival, was very friendly and clear with instructions. The rooms are a good size and the shower is nice. The coffee machine in my room and my son’s was not good, but that’s the only downside. We thought there was a restaurant for breakfast, but everything was closed when we went downstairs; we found a place close enough to Chester where we got some food.

“Better than you'd probably expect given how affordable it is”

The staff were absolutely lovely and a definite highlight of the stay; they were bright, cheery, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work, which is refreshing. The location was the main reason for our booking since we were staying for a wedding, but it isn’t really near anything. They don’t serve breakfast, but there’s a ‘cafe’ (a butty van with a gazebo) around the corner that the staff directed us to, and they provided a nice, inexpensive breakfast as a stomach filler. No complaints there. The room was spacious for what it was and had a smart TV with Netflix, which is good. The room was warm but had windows that actually open, so you can cool or heat it as needed. The bathroom was very dated, and the shower is perhaps a little too cozy and easily floods the floor outside; it would be nice if there were a safe for valuables.

The staff were friendly, but the bathroom light was out, the tap didn’t provide cold water, the room felt chilly, and it was very small.

“Couple”

Very friendly and helpful staff. Meals were lovely. Hotel was clean and we had a lovely stay. Bed very comfortable. Everything was fine
