“Stay in the heart of Monte Cafe”

The stay at Firma Efraim in Monte Cafe was pleasant; the staff were amazing and the food very good. The upstairs terrace and seating area were lovely, but we were in a downstairs room that lacks a bathroom door, so check that before booking. Other rooms were okay, and the upstairs room was lovely. We stayed over the weekend and Monte Cafe was noisy through the night into the morning, but Firma Efraim is actively working with the community to address this problem and is well aware of it.

What an interesting place to stay! The staff were very nice and extremely helpful, truly an asset to the hotel. The restaurant served delicious food and the terrace was lovely. We stayed in one of the downstairs rooms, which was an okay size with a comfortable bed and clean. However, there’s no door on the bathroom, which could be awkward for some people. Firma Efraim sits right in the middle of Monte Cafe with easy access to surrounding areas. Nighttime was very loud (music, bars, etc.) in the streets outside while we stayed, but the hotel is working hard with the local community to reduce noise levels.

After years of traveling, I finally met someone who offered such great service, information, and help as Amedy Pereira; it’s a local business rooted in the community with high quality, and the food is also excellent—everyone should check it out.

“Dormir en Roça Monte Café”

The best parts were the ceviche we had for dinner and the plentiful breakfast, though the room was a bit basic and the bathroom and furniture could use improvement.

The bed was very thick and comfortable, there’s a restaurant, and the location is excellent.
