Courtyard by Marriott London Heathrow Airport

I booked a double room that was advertised as clean and tidy with a normal washroom, but the room was unclean, the sheets were dirty, and overall it felt like a waste of money. I booked four days in advance and was told on the day that no rooms were available, only accessible ones, so the double room I had booked was ruined. It spoiled my husband’s birthday and I am extremely disappointed with everything—the staff were rude and misbehaved. I also don’t like how the online pictures differ from reality.

The hotel is clean and a nice option near the airport, but there is no free airport shuttle.

“Great Hotel Near LHR”

I was pleasantly surprised by this stay close to London Heathrow; the rooms were spacious, comparable to those in the US, and the restaurant and bar selections were excellent. The Indian restaurant on the top floor, with a view of the main runway, served some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. There was also a nice bar with outdoor seating for a late‑night pint. I’d stay here again when leaving LHR, and the bus to the main terminal ran on time and was easy to arrange.

The room was cozy, but the reception staff during check‑in were indifferent, seeming more focused on each other than on guests. I checked out at 5 am and no one greeted me or thanked me before I left. The front desk needs to adopt a consistently friendly and polite attitude toward customers.

“Rooms need investment....”

The hotel is pleasant overall and the staff are great, but the rooms need investment. During two of my last five stays the mattresses were in dire need of replacement; the most recent one had a pronounced dip where you sit and stand, and the previous one made a squeaking noise with each movement.
