The resort is spacious, yet it feels too remote from civilization; four pools and a jacuzzi were advertised but drained, leaving only one adult pool and one kids pool operational.

The breakfast was good and the happy‑hour lounge was enjoyable, but the real highlight is the spotless garden and pool, maintained with continuous cleaning. The kids’ club runs every day. However, the lounge bar in the lobby has weak facilities, drinks, and service, and the desk’s hand‑over process is flawed – when staff change, requests aren’t reliably passed on, which needs fixing.

“Good for relax and family holiday”

The pool is in good size and beautiful location of the hotel. The hotel is bit far from city centre for shopping and food. Need to call taxi for in and out. Only 2 round of shuttle transfer to and from airport which should be more frequent

I booked this place because I had a 40‑hour layover in Hainan on a Hainan Air flight from London to Sydney (great airline, by the way); it did the job, but I wouldn’t choose it for any other purpose. As others note, it feels a bit dated and scruffy—about a 3.5‑star level by Asian standards—but there are plenty of positives: a large room, a big bed, a big TV, a very good breakfast, a solid gym and spa, and clean, spacious swimming pools that made me happy for the price I paid. Getting there costs 50 yuan via Didi or 100 yuan in a regular taxi. The location is near absolutely nothing, so there’s no point stepping outside the hotel, and there’s no internet.
