I loved the location and the atmosphere. Dharmik and his team are so welcoming. He makes you feel at home and relaxed. He arranged a 3 night walking Safari for me with the best guides. Truly a gem of a place in Sauraha. Also loved the "jungle shower" 😁

The Happy Lemon Tree has an incredible location with stunning views of the river. The accommodation is basic like a rustic Robinson Crusoe style camp. these are the reasons we chose to book the Happy Lemon Tree. However, the camp has been neglected. It is run down, dilapidated and one can feel the lack of love for the space. The swimming pool had no water in the pool which was a huge disappointment for us as this was also one of our main reasons for booking the Happy Lemon Tree. The owner was terribly under-staffed due to the holidays,yet tried his best to make the best of the situation. However, one can sense that the maintenance issues and general upkeep of the place has been neglected for a while. The lodge has enormous potential with a little attention.creating beautiful gardens, some basic upgrades.(new bamboo in the bathroom)and general cleanup, making sure the pool is clean, offering a nutritious meal per day, etc would make a big difference. I have to add that the coffees and fresh juices were absolutely amazing 👏. No water in the pool, dirty toilets

Enorm vriendelijke eigenaar die zeer behulpzaam is! Schattige hutjes, mooi ingericht. Heel fijn om tot rust te komen aan de rivieroever. /
