Geel Heritage - A Restored Haveli

We spent a fantastic stay at GEEL HAVELI. The owner and his family were extremely welcoming, a wonderful host who was truly passionate, and the beautiful property had everything needed. While the comforts and furnishings were exceptional, it was mainly Hash, the host, who made our stay so comfortable. He helped plan our itinerary, arranged a great walking guide, handled our transfer to Udaipur, and was always ready to give us valuable advice. We highly recommend this place and hope to return, perhaps for a longer stay next time. The location is excellent, overlooking the old town and the fort, and it’s just a few steps from the clock tower, a perfect central spot.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff attentive and available, plenty of hot water, and the bed is comfortable.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old city near the ancient stepwell attraction and the clock tower with its surrounding markets; the room was delightfully decorated in a traditional Rajastani style, the ensuite bathroom was very large with excellent shower pressure, the service was friendly, and the homemade food was delicious with various Rajasthani curries; overall, it’s a great choice if you want to be close to the fort and other Jodhpur attractions.

“In short AVOID”

I was completely dissatisfied with the services and facilities for what we paid; nobody cares once you pay, it was not clean and not even basic clean, the bed mattress was long but very hard, the location was very noisy, and cars and tuk tuks cannot get there; the only positive was the good view from the rooftop.
