“Loved my stay here, can’t wait to come back!”

First and foremost, the staff were amazing—they treated us like family and ensured we had the best time. Miguel gave fantastic recommendations for things to do around town, and Ni always made sure we returned safely after our post‑dinner walks around the bay. Marco, the head chef, is fun and offers great food and drink advice—definitely worth chatting with him! The hotel itself is charming, and our room was beautifully decorated. The seaside location and the palace’s unique personality made this a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience! We spent a lot of time lounging at the hotel, whether by the pool, at the bar, or on the beach, enjoying the amazing weather. We also sampled most of the lunch and dinner menus and WOW! I highly recommend sitting by the pool, grabbing a plate of sushi, and sipping a Bloomsbury. For dinner, the meat dishes are incredible, some of the best steak I’ve ever had! For an authentic Portuguese seaside experience, try the seafood rice—it’s a great tasting experience with a bit of everything. Exploring the bay area and trying all the local restaurants, you won’t find anything better than what’s served at The Green Room. I’ll definitely come back to discover all the different rooms, drinks, and dishes still left to try! Can’t wait to see my StoryTellers family again!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The beds were a little too hard and could have been larger. The rooms were small, but the staff made up for it, and it was an old house originally.

Excellent location, very kind staff. A few staff members had to juggle many tasks, which left something to be desired at times, and the breakfast could have been better.
