The location was great, right on the Moselle and on the main road. Inside the hotel there was a nice restaurant with excellent food and very friendly service. We didn’t use the pool because of the warm weather. The breakfast was really tasty and varied, but cappuccino was only available on special request, otherwise only pot coffee—what a pity.

The location was top, the staff were top, but the mattresses were unfortunately sagging; breakfast was good, though expectations were higher.

The breakfast spread was impressive, the room offered a vineyard view, the bathroom was spotless and practical, and the setting was peaceful; we dined at the downstairs restaurant and loved the food, and we also hopped on the river ferry for a round trip to Bernkastle, taking in the stunning scenery of the famous Sunnenuhr vineyard. The parking situation was cramped for the number of rooms, so we parked in the public lot across the street, which was cheap and accessible via the Easy Park App that worked smoothly.

The staff were friendly, but parking can be a challenge if you arrive late. There’s public parking across from the hotel, but it can get busy on some days.

Breakfast was good, but the toilet is extremely small and uncomfortable.
