Zanzi Resort Private Paradise

“Very high end resort for anyone seeking extreme privacy and relax. Not cheap but worth it!”

Zanzi feels like a paradise; we only stayed two nights but fully immersed ourselves in its wonderful setting. With just 14 villas, all highly private, you can spend days without seeing another guest, and the privacy is fantastic. The resort is lush and green, almost like a rainforest, and the villas are beautiful, spacious, with amazing private outdoor areas. We couldn't have asked for a better end to our Zanzibar trip. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

The hotel felt really cozy and private, and we were completely satisfied with our choice. After driving around Zanzibar’s popular beaches, we loved coming back each evening to our little paradise called Zanzi. The overall service, especially the twice‑daily room cleaning, was worth noting; they even tidied the room for bedtime while we were at dinner. Being on the west side of the island meant we didn’t have the strong tides that hit the east. We definitely recommend it.

“A private paradise”

The spot is right next to Stone Town, and the breakfast a la carte was tasty—especially the banana bread. The villas were gorgeous, spotless, and tucked away in the jungle, just a short walk to the beach, and the staff were fantastic. The downside was that the beach had no lifeguard and there was only one restaurant.
