“Viel zu heiß und unfreundlicher Gastgeber”
Uns hat am besten die Lage der Unterkunft gefallen. Wir haben ein Zimmer ohne AC gebucht, als uns das Zimmer gezeigt wurde, waren alle Fenster geschlossen und der Ventilator aus. Es kam sofort die Frage, ob wir eine AC möchten ( kostet 2000 mehr) es schien so, als hätten sie das Zimmer absichtlich wärmer gemacht. Die Söhne des Eigentümers waren sehr nett und weltoffen, im Gegensatz zu ihrem Vater. Als er uns fragte woher wir kommen und wir Germany sagten war er etwas seltsam. Dadurch das wir kein Dinner in der Unterkunft hatten, war das Verhältnis noch komischer. Uns wurde auch mehr abgerechnet! Seine Aussage; almost 3000LKR for one Night. Es wären nur 2860 LKR gewesen. Fanden wir etwas schade. Wir haben noch nie so schlecht geschlafen wie in dieser Unterkunft, viel zu heiß. Es gab wie angegeben kein Wifi oder Seife. Es gab ein einziges Handtuch für zwei Personen
“You get what you pay for!”
The owner and family were extremely friendly and helpful. Gave lots of tips and advice about the local area. Booked for a month as a base so we could travel around, not necessarily needing to be back everyday as we’d use other hotels too. On arrival, we were advised that our stay had increased in cost by $50, no notice being given by the host or . Advertised as beachfront, it isn’t. The beach is approx 150m away across a busy road. The photos in the listing are very old and do not reflect the actual condition of the accommodation. The room and private bathroom were not clean, we even bought cleaning materials! The beds had 3 inch mattresses which didn’t afford any comfort
Staff are nice people and the room was very clean. It’s Very close to beautiful beach. The room and towel smelled mold

Comfortable ensuite room with a fan and AC. The staff were so lovely and accommodating as I was arriving late at night. Obviously it’s basic but great value for money and so close to the beach!. Nothing
