Nestled in a historic building in Cercemaggiore, Agriturismo La Ginestra offers a sun‑lit terrace, lush garden and complimentary Wi‑Fi. Rooms provide private bathrooms with bidets, air‑conditioning, balconies, work desks and soundproofing, framing garden or mountain vistas. The family‑run restaurant serves Italian, Mediterranean and local dishes, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten‑free options, plus a buffet breakfast.

Besides cleanliness, the courtesy and availability of Pino and his family deserve praise, especially for the genuine and truly excellent products at zero cost.

We spent four nights at this agriturismo and couldn’t be more enthusiastic about our experience. From the moment we arrived we felt at home thanks to a warm, family‑like welcome and the staff’s readiness. A special shout‑out to Pino. The cleanliness of the premises is meticulous. The real highlight is the cuisine: all products are zero‑kilometer, processed and cooked with wisdom, and the roasted meat is extraordinary. We had the pleasure of celebrating Ferragosto lunch here, and it was flawlessly organized, generous in portions. The starters were delightful and varied, the cheeses were spacious, the first courses were rich in flavor, not to mention the roasted lamb: a true triumph for the palate. All of this was accompanied by a Montepulciano of their own production, which paired perfectly with every dish. Finally, the desserts were delicious, the amaro molisano and coffee finished the lunch excellently. The location is also great, a perfect base to visit Campobasso and its provincial villages. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation, authenticity, and genuine traditional cuisine. We will definitely come back.

The rooms were welcomingly designed. Breakfast was very generous. At first there was an unfriendly dispute over the furnishings of one room, which had a double bed instead of two single beds, but the issue was resolved. The location is problematic for hikers like us; the agriturismo is several kilometres away from the “sentiero Italia”.
