Grand Hotel Paradiso

The property is solid, well located, with ample parking and a decent fitness area, though some equipment was out of order, lights were off, and an unqualified lady wandered around asking if I was a guest. I’m having my first fight with the hotel’s Wi‑Fi, tried multiple times over several days and nothing worked; this needs improvement.

“terribile”

I checked in at 01:00 a.m. and expected a double room, but I was given a single bed, a dirty and old room, a bathroom missing toilet paper, a rug, and only one towel for the bidet and one for two people. The air conditioner was noisy, the fridge was malfunctioning, and there was only a single bottle of water—definitely not the standard for a 4‑star hotel.

Claudio was an exceptional receptionist—trustworthy and discreet, truly one of a kind. I felt I didn't stay long enough to fully appreciate everything else, but overall it was average.

The location was great. I chose this place because I had stayed there years ago and liked it. The hotel itself is nice, but I found the garden and pool area very neglected. A pity.

The facilities were good. It is far from the city center, and the staff didn't help with luggage upon arrival or with regular maintenance. We were given a room whose air conditioner didn't work, then moved to another that was noisy, but because it was the weekend there was no maintenance staff available.
