The safari‑style air‑con rooms were stunningly modern, private, and beautiful. The monkeys in the trees made us feel like we were in the countryside rather than the city. However, we waited over an hour for room‑service food, which pushed our kids’ bedtime to 1 am, and the chicken nuggets were so processed they were inedible, leaving my child hungry.

Pax Manor sits in a calm, leafy part of Nairobi. It was truly an oasis and the staff took great care of us. It was exceptional. Nothing was missing—it was all perfect.

The staff were excellent. However, many facilities were unavailable: the spa was out of service, the whiskey room was under maintenance, and the pool was not heated. For the price we paid, we expected those to be available.
