I loved the hilltop location and city views; the room was roomy with plenty of storage, which was handy. The host was friendly, offered activity tips, and booked tuktuks for us, and the breakfast was generous. The bathroom looked worn and could use a refresh, and the wifi was unreliable.

Kandy was our first bustling city, and this place was a peaceful haven right next to it. The house captures the local vibe perfectly, and the host is very kind. The breakfast, with its incredible views, was a highlight.

It sits in a well‑preserved old building with fabulous views and very good service, totally recommended if you stay in Kandy, although it’s a bit far from the city centre but they give you all the comforts to get around.

The view was spectacular, the rooms were very clean and breakfast was good, and the staff were so helpful, very kind and accommodating, but the signage is barely visible and most auto and taxi drivers miss the location; the uphill location is difficult to reach if you don’t have a high‑powered vehicle.
