The spot is unbeatable—right on the island’s best location, and the pool area is just lovely. We had a great time snorkeling off the pier, though we had to bring our own mask and snorkel because the free ones the hotel gives out are mouldy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it if you want to explore Koh Mak, though the place feels a bit tired and could use a high‑pressure clean and a lick of paint.

Die Lage ist großartig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Alles konnte vor Ort gebucht werden: Kajak, Sub, Scooter, Fährticket usw. Das gebuchte Doppelzimmer für 4 Personen fühlte sich jedoch nicht 52 qm an und es fehlten Abstellmöglichkeiten für unser Gepäck. Die Umbuchung auf 2 Einzelhäuser/Zimmer war aber problemlos möglich. Die Anlage selbst kann ihr Alter nicht verbergen, die Bauweise der Gebäude ist landestypisch. Unsere Nasszellen entsprachen nicht unseren Vorstellungen und sollten renoviert werden.

Fantastic location, great views of the islands, snorkeling was fun and the bar at the end of the pier was the best.

The food was good, value and meal size for your budget. The pool was nice, it is a quiet place to chill out. Tide goes out for miles, not really a good swimming beach, dated, some staff not your usual friendly Thai people.
