“sehr enttäuscht - nicht gehalten was es mal war”

There was no breakfast because it was a holiday, even though I had requested breakfast for two people during booking. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times in 2021 and it was excellent then. I didn’t get a room with a cathedral view, even though that was advertised and I booked it. Upon arrival in the evening, there was no option to dine in the restaurant because they were hosting an “Oktober-Wasen” party until about 23:00 with very loud music. The hotel didn’t mention the downstairs party in the booking details. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all.

The location is central and quiet, and the bathroom is modern.

The spot is right next to the cathedral, and the room is pretty spacious with a view of the Dom and a solid mattress. The on‑site restaurant is decent, and breakfast is small but tasty, with fresh scrambled eggs on request, homemade jam, a good selection of sausages and cheeses, and fresh fruit.

The location is great, facing the Dom so you can see it from the window, yet the glass is so tight that the bell ringing doesn’t disturb sleep. The room is roomy with a comfortable bed, and the host was easy and friendly to communicate with, even though we didn’t meet in person on the day of arrival or departure because it was a rest day. The Wi‑Fi in our room was weak.

“Einmalige Lage mit Blick auf den Dom”

The view of the Dom is fantastic, the rooms are beautifully renovated, and the restaurant’s terrace is a highlight.
