We stayed at Borgo 39 Bed & Breakfast and it was a pleasure from the get-go. The host was super kind, always quick to respond, and went out of their way to help us and meet every request. Check‑in was a breeze thanks to clear instructions, and we even got free parking directions that were a huge help. The apartment itself was immaculate, with fresh white linens and towels, and the bathroom came fully stocked; the host even slipped a juice box into the kitchen for our son and gave me a traditional fan as a gift. We also received discount cards for the cable car to San Marino’s centre, historic fortresses, and several local spots. The décor was charming and gave the space a refined, stylish feel. On the downside, the room was a bit cramped and not very comfortable for a couple; it felt more suited to a solo traveler. The bathroom lacked a proper door, and there were no partitions between the toilet, bathroom, and the rest of the room. The glass panels between the bedroom, bathroom, and toilet weren’t frosted enough, so it was easy to see and hear what was happening behind them. This made using the toilet uncomfortable, especially since the entire ceiling is covered with mirrors, which is great for seeing yourself from every angle in bed but still unsettling when you’re in the bathroom.

The apartment was beautiful, modern and clean. It was easy to get to and the parking situation was very ideal. The host texted me updates throughout my stay and was very helpful and quick to respond. It was a very pleasant experience. The property was in the perfect location and was a short walk to the cable car to get up to the beautiful old town of San Marino
