The Earthbox Inn & Spa, located on San Juan Island, offers an indoor pool and hot tub. Guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, coffee-making facilities, a small fridge, microwave, and air-conditioning. The onsite spa provides massage treatments, face and body services, and a sauna. The inn is within a 5-minute walk to Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal and San Juan Safaris for whale watching and kayaking.

The location was amazing, the rooms were clean and huge, the pool was a great option on cloudy days, and we appreciated the shampoo and conditioner the hotel provided. The only drawback was that we were charged $15/day for letting a kid use a backpacking sleep mat on the floor instead of the bed; we didn’t check out formally at the front desk, so I might have avoided the charge, but the fee was minimal and it won’t stop me from staying here again.

It was a perfect spot near the Harbor with some great restaurants, and there was nothing negative.

The spot is right near everything, the grounds look great, and the beds are super comfy. The only downside is that there are no elevators, so you’ll want to pick a bottom‑floor room if you can’t handle stairs with luggage.
