The place looks beautiful, but the services are minimal. The girl at check‑in was friendly and helpful, yet breakfast was a huge let‑down: they told us it would run until 10, but by 9:45 everything was taken away and they hurriedly made us dishes from what was left in the kitchen, even in a messy way. We expected more for the price we paid for one night.

“Beautiful property, good location and kind staff, but poor management, almost no service and a misleading AC situation m”

The building itself is lovely and the spot is great for exploring Umbria, especially as a base to visit various towns. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful whenever we found someone to talk to. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. I spent €1,410 for seven nights and expected far better comfort and service. The room lacked a proper cupboard or cabinet, room service was almost nonexistent, and getting anyone to answer was hard. The biggest problem was the air conditioning: I paid extra for a room advertised with AC, but it never cooled properly. We tried different settings, even changed rooms, and were told the central cooling was turned off because it was winter. That’s unacceptable. The staff were polite when available, but the property suffers from poor management and a serious lack of service. It’s a beautiful place with great potential, but the mismanagement ruins it. I won’t come back.
