“Not 5 star.”
The pool area was great. The towels smelled damp and awful, the property itself wasn’t 5‑star—old and run down. Our game drive car broke down, leaving us stuck for 30 minutes and losing that time.

The staff were friendly and accommodating in a safari reserve full of animals. Nothing else to note.

We had an amazing stay at Vuyani! Everyone on the team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, and our villa looked beautiful. David and Direct, who led our game drives, were friendly, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to spot the animals and make each drive memorable. Benji gave us cheerful 5:30 AM wake‑up calls to get us ready for the morning drives. The food was exceptional—Willie and the entire kitchen crew did a fantastic job throughout our stay. From the hospitality to the game drives, food, and beautiful accommodation, Vuyani gave us a memorable safari experience. Highly recommend!

The game drives were great and the food was really good! But there were no alcoholic drinks in the lodge, and we weren’t told about that beforehand; we had to get drinks ourselves in the next town after arrival. It seems the lodge didn’t have a license to serve alcohol.
