The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good value, and it was very close to the golf club where we attended a family party (less than 5 minutes walk via underpass). I used earplugs so the noise didn’t bother me, but the pub patrons sang karaoke until after midnight, keeping others awake. If you have trouble with very narrow, steep stairs, ask not to be assigned Room 1–6.

The place was really friendly. The staff were lovely, and the pub had a great atmosphere with many friendly locals. The location by the river was lovely, and the rooms were perfect for a great value stay. It’s literally less than 5 minutes walk to the Spalding golf club where we were attending a family birthday party—perfect location. No negatives.

The room was clean and spacious, I was able to check in early, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was tasty and offered excellent value.
