Located in the historic Chiaia neighborhood of Naples, the Pinto-Storey Hotel occupies an Art-Nouveau building between the city's historic center and seafront promenade, with Amedeo Metro Station nearby. This 4th-floor hotel features rooms with 19th-century furnishings, satellite TV, and pay-per-view channels. A sweet breakfast, including traditional Neapolitan pastries like sfogliatella, is available at an additional cost.

Pinto Storey is actually an apartment on the fourth floor of the building shown in the photo. I stayed in a very spacious room with a foyer area (table, fridge, wardrobe, desk, TV, and even a comfy chair) that opens onto the sleeping area with a double bed, bedside table, and a large bathroom with a shower. The décor is classic 1950s/60s style (except the renovated bathroom), all kept very well and spotless. The mattress isn’t particularly comfortable, soundproofing could be better, and the shower floor is broken or supposedly waiting to be replaced—quite a pity not to be able to shower, considering the rest of the room was impeccable.

I liked how easy it was to get around with public transport, the neighborhood felt cozy and the place itself was quiet and comfortable.
