“Fabulous stay, with a very generous host in a beautiful location!”

The place is absolutely amazing—beautiful, spacious, and with an incredible view of the mountains. Raimondo, the host, was incredibly kind and generous; he had already left homemade cake, jam, bread, quince jelly, locally sourced apple juice, fruit, nuts from the orchard, and a bottle of the winery’s last batch of wine when we arrived. Every morning fresh fruit was brought, and he was available for anything we needed. He also gave us a tour of the rest of the property, which felt like stepping into a museum. The room came with towels, all essentials, and even eye masks to block out the morning sun. There wasn’t much room for improvement—truly a perfect stay!

The property is located right in the heart of the town, and besides its great location, the building and the apartment are maintained excellently, with meticulous attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness. Raimondo and Marcella’s hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also appreciated Raimondo’s stories about the historic, one-of-a-kind structure and his suggestions for exploring the surroundings. This experience will stay in our memories and will surely be a reference point if we ever return to this area.

An exceptional place with very friendly people! It’s a historic building in a small town. The apartment sits on the upper floor, a newly renovated loft featuring lovely, detailed antique furniture. The host supplied homemade jam, bread, and garden fruits. However, as shown in the pictures, you’ll notice a glass door between the living room and the bathroom, and there are no curtains or other means to block the morning light. The host does provide sleeping masks, which can help you get a longer sleep if you’re comfortable wearing them. Also, there’s no dedicated parking, but the village square offers some public parking spaces.

“Villa storica nella montagne”

If you want to escape the daily grind, this B&B is the right place to go. The historic Cantine Marchesi building brings you back to past centuries, with painted walls, large living rooms for conversation, and a beautiful planted garden. The direct view of the mountains completes the magical atmosphere. Perhaps a few more power outlets would have been nice, but if you ask the host, they’ll definitely provide them; I chose to enjoy nature and unplug instead.
