The view of the Nile is breathtaking. Talaat and his family and staff looked after us with great care, and we would definitely return. The shower, however, was not ideal.

Queen House is a lovely guest house with a stunning view of the Nile bank. It’s a simple place, but its added value comes from owner Taalat, who accompanied us from arrival, picked us up at the ferry to Elephant Island, and organized every part of our stay flawlessly—including a trip to Abu Simbel, transfers by car and boat, and a visit to the Philae temple.

The guest house’s location is ideal, offering an amazing Nile view. A large terrace lets you relax, and it’s very peaceful compared to bustling Aswan. The terrace also has a small kitchen and fridge for easy cooking. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Wi‑Fi was poor, perhaps intentionally to encourage rest rather than remote work. Host Talaat is very kind and helpful for arranging your time in Aswan. Overall, a perfect spot.

The host is very friendly and honest. All our tours—Abu Simbel, Philae temple, transfers, and the Nubian village—were organized there, the price was correct, hassle‑free, and the host took care of us. Breakfast was adequate for our light appetite. The ferry is within 5 minutes, and the Wi‑Fi was great. The island is still under development.
