I stayed eight nights at this guesthouse in Lalibela and the experience was absolutely remarkable. From the moment I booked, the manager emailed me to arrange my arrival. A transport from the airport to the guesthouse was perfectly organized, letting me arrive calmly and enjoy an immediate warm, attentive welcome. The reception was simply impeccable. I quickly felt like a family member while still keeping my personal space and privacy. The atmosphere was both warm, authentic, and very pleasant. Cleanliness was impeccable even during a heavy rainy season, with cleaning done several times a day. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the environment particularly quiet. The location is also ideal: everything can be done on foot, especially reaching the city center and the main churches of Lalibela. Tuktuks are also available nearby. The value for money is excellent. The guesthouse offers a truly remarkable level of comfort and service for this type of establishment. A special mention goes to the cuisine, which greatly contributed to making my stay exceptional. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the meals were absolutely delicious. I even found some dishes better than those in several restaurants I tried in Ethiopia. During my eight nights in Lalibela, I chose to eat exclusively the meals prepared by my hosts, because I loved their cooking! A huge thank you to the whole family for their welcome, kindness, and all their attentions. I recommend this establishment without hesitation to anyone wanting to stay in Lalibela. A very beautiful address that I would be happy to revisit on my next trip!

Spotlessly clean, the room was large and comfortable with a cozy bed, and breakfast was good. The family took care of everything to keep me comfortable, very friendly and affectionate. I felt at home!

The room was comfortable, very clean, it felt like a family home and I felt warmly welcomed and cared for. Breakfast and coffee were excellent, the place was very quiet and the shower was magnificent!!!! I liked everything.

The homestay offered the unique hospitality and warmth you expect; the sake banquet with locals, which the host invited me to, was particularly interesting. The only downside was the lack of Wi‑Fi.
