The guesthouse was marvelous! Jorge and Riccardo were wonderful hosts, and the location was perfect.

“An oasis of calm near a busy tourist hotspot.”

I spent a lovely time at The Geronimo Guest House in Belem, Lisbon, enjoying the quirky room, the view, the water and glasses that were supplied, and the bathroom with toiletries. I didn’t use the personal access to the owners before, but when I needed it, they were nearby. My flight was delayed and I panicked about not being able to gain access immediately in the dark, but eventually I managed. The property sits in a quiet area yet is close to all sights and transport. Thank you. I panicked that I couldn’t straightaway gain access in the dark especially after a long day with flight delays at London Heathrow.

“Perfect Belem location”

The location was outstanding for touring Belem on foot, just steps from the world‑famous pastry shop, one block from the Monastery and Botanical Gardens, two blocks from the square and waterfront, and restaurants were nearby. The owners gave excellent restaurant recommendations. The hot tub was not operational.

My second visit, this time with family, proved this spot is a GEM! Everything was, and still is, excellent—10+🌟.
