“Great views”

The view over Mae Salong and the mountains is stunning and the hosts are lovely. The bed was as hard as a rock, the room was super basic and lacked bedside lamps, which made things difficult. Breakfast was supposed to be included but there was no offer for it, and I had to go before anything was open (7am).

The view of the mountains was nice and the sheets were clean, but then… The furniture was old and creaky; you can ignore it, but when it’s a bit dirty you start to notice everything. Dust on the wardrobe, dirty floors, an unpleasant old smell in the closet, and items never put away. All the glass was streaked and dusty. The balcony was covered in cobwebs, so I had to clean it myself to sit comfortably. Street noise from passing cars and bikes was present, though it faded as night fell, only to rise again in the morning. I slept well because I was very tired, and the guy woke up in the morning.

The mountain and tea field views were spectacular. The room was quiet, very clean, had good air conditioning, parking, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The bed was a bit hard.

“Genieten van het mooie uitzicht en een relaxte sfeer”

The view was gorgeous and the host was very friendly. The room was clean and a good price. The balcony looked out over the mountains. The atmosphere was relaxed. The breakfast area was nice and you could also enjoy the beautiful view. They sell tasty oolong tea from their own plantation. It’s a short walk to the town, but it’s quieter here. From here you can walk into the valley toward the tea plantations.
