The location is excellent, allowing exploration of trails in various directions, and the view of Babią Górę from the balcony is beautiful and undisturbed by civilization. Unfortunately, there is no noise, and the ratings are heavily inflated. The rooms are decorated in a minimalist PRL style, the mattresses are old and sagging (the beds are quite short for tall people). The front doors are partially glazed, so the corridor light shines through the night and the room stays bright all night, and the doors creak with pressure changes in the corridor. Cleanliness is average, there is no sound insulation. Breakfast is modest; sausages are cold even after heating, and there is no coffee machine (the only coffee is a pot of hot water and instant coffee, which I haven't seen in a long time). In the dining area there is a ping‑pong table, which makes it hard to start the day calmly. There is one small fridge in the dining area, which is still a large facility. The automatic gate opens manually (pushed), and it is the only way to get in at night even without a car—foreign guests were confused about how to get inside. The biggest flaw is probably the sauna, which was the main reason I chose this place. When trying to book it in the morning (as suggested by staff the day before), I was told it might be turned on because they mainly offer the sauna to groups. In the end, I learned I could only use it for half an hour, effectively one entry… (I didn't use it, and there are better sauna spots in Zawoja). I won't return and I do not recommend it.
The place is in a great spot, the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is delicious—highly recommend!
Everything was clean, warm, and comfortable. Nothing to add.
Everything is great.
The location is perfect for trail trips, quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is tasty, and I think we'll come back again.
