It was not too far from the city center and the main temple, and it was very quiet. Filtered water was available but you had to ask for it. Likewise, you had to request a clean room by dropping the key at the front desk. The staff were not always professional or friendly. Cleanliness was lacking: the corridor to our room stayed full of dead flies for two days, and the meal tray remained outside our door for 24 hours. There was no mosquito net in the room. Getting hot water was difficult; it took a very long time and wasted a lot of water. The pillows were unclean. When we arrived, there was no mirror in the bathroom and the light fixture was hanging; we had to struggle to get a mirror and a light, and the latter only stayed attached for 24 hours because of the double‑sided tape. Breakfast was mediocre: it was always the same and there were no drinks.
