It was an experience we’ll remember in many ways. The real surprise was Jean‑Robert, a friendly, educated, and empathetic man who was always ready to explain the sights we wanted to see. The only downside was a bit of overgrown vegetation around the house, but we politely mentioned it to Jean‑Robert.

Great value for money: the location is good (25 min drive to Rouen, 50 min to Étretat/Honfleur), the house is cute and spacious, breakfast is simple yet tasty and plentiful, and we really appreciated the host’s helpful travel tips and our morning chats with him. Nothing negative to note, just suggest putting a sign on the road entrance because the road can be hard to find on the first try.

The room was nice and detailed; the French breakfast was very good on a lovingly set table. The spacious, wooded grounds were full of diverse vegetation, almost like an arboretum.
