The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful and hot—unlike some hotels where the breakfast is room temperature, this one was hot and good. The only downside was that we only stayed one night.

The hotel sits close to the baseball fields, which is great. However, the washrooms weren’t free, which was a bummer compared to the nearby hotel that offered free washers and dryers—washing my three‑day tournament clothes there was a glorious experience.

The breakfast was okay, and the location was probably the best since you’re in the middle of Scottsdale and by the freeway. When we checked in, no one told us that the air conditioner was out; we didn’t learn about it until we checked out. When we got to our room it was 85 degrees and it would not cool down.
