Every time I go to Mito I’m taken care of by Mitoshi‑san. This is my fourth visit. When I first came, he remembered that I’d be there for a dodgeball expedition and even wrote about it on the welcome board—so moving! Communication is always smooth, and among all the homestays I’ve tried, this is the one I feel most at ease staying at. I’ll keep coming back. The only downside is there’s no bathtub, but the shower room is spacious and easy to use, so it’s not a deal‑breaker.

The owner keeps in touch often. We requested dinner and breakfast. It must have been tough for a large group, but there was a homemade feel. The facilities were clean and well equipped. We did wish there was a power outlet next to the bed.
