Redgum Hill Country Retreat

“Heerlijk verblijf, alle mogelijkheid tot ontspannen op deze locatie!”

The place had a beautiful location, a well‑maintained garden, rooms with great beds, and the owner was very friendly and tried to help us with everything; the outdoor jacuzzi was also very pleasant, though I missed a Wi‑Fi connection, which might have been known beforehand.

“It was a beautiful place to retreat for a calming and relaxing long weekend.”

The location was ideal for short trips to nearby towns yet secluded enough to feel like a real escape. I also liked the cottage layout, especially the upstairs bedroom that was warm and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and the abundance of birdlife was lovely. The cottage was close to the main house but far enough that you don’t notice people unless you need them. Unfortunately there was no Wi‑Fi or Optus reception on the property (the booklet said I could ask for Wi‑Fi access in emergencies). Those using Telstra had no issue.

“Sitting in the garden, listening to and watching the birds as we enjoyed a lovely cuppa. This accommodation is along the”

We stayed in the units and the rooms were so comfortable and beautifully decorated with antique furniture. It was nice having our own bathrooms.

The host was friendly, yet the place felt a bit stingy—there was barely enough firewood, and the room was littered with notices, the showers were short, and the air‑conditioning never seemed to be adjusted.

“Beautiful quiet location about 15 minutes out of Nannup that is well appointed with a gorgeous view.”

A beautiful, quiet spot about 15 minutes from Nannup, fully equipped and offering a stunning view from the upstairs balcony; it’s near a couple of wineries, has a cozy fireplace, and makes a truly peaceful weekend getaway.
