The hotel is affordable and small; I paid 110,-€ for two nights with breakfast. The on‑site restaurant serves tasty dishes ranging from about 11,- to 12,50 € for a main course, a large beer costs 2,56 €, and there is a parking spot in the courtyard. The staff are courteous, friendly, and sometimes speak German, but it can get a bit noisy when the windows are open because of street traffic, and with the windows closed the silence is limited.

The room was spacious and clean, with three single beds for kids, which is crucial when you have three teenage children. The bathtub was centrally located and stunning, but you can't actually shower there, and with so many beds it feels like a family suite; I would have liked at least a partition.
