Everything was wonderful, but the fire pit music in the garden stops at 9 pm.

The building is beautiful and set out of town, with a footpath to the town below. The staff were helpful, breakfast was fine, and the place was clean with an attractive riverside café bar. The attic rooms on the top floor were small, had sloping ceilings and tiny bathrooms; I’d recommend staying on the second floor below for better quality and larger rooms.

This place is fantastic – a very historic hotel with a beautiful reception area and dining room, located under the huge castle and close to shops and the square; the rooms are very comfortable and well presented.
