We stayed at the Mercure Hotel Riesa after a cycling trip. The room was very nice. We ate well in the hotel‑owned restaurant. Breakfast was good. The location, close to the Elbe cycle path, was also excellent. There was nothing to complain about.

The wellness area was great, clean, and the steam options were superb; the sauna was the main reason I booked this hotel. Everything was included in the price, no extra charges, which I really appreciate. The sauna opening hours are fantastic and should stay that way. Breakfast offered many options, something for everyone.

Check‑in was straightforward, and parking was right outside the front door. It was quite expensive, and the furnishings felt a bit outdated and not very contemporary.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. We received a free drink and a cyclist’s meal. The location is ideal for Elbe cyclists. The food next door at Riesen was also good, and shopping was available on site.

I only stayed for a short time, the breakfast was booked but my train left too early in the morning, so I couldn't have another breakfast. The reception was very welcoming, thanks to the very friendly lady at the front desk. The room was very clean, free water, very comfortable beds, minibar – who needs it? The location is very quiet, even inside the hotel there's a pleasant calm, no banging doors, no noisy guests, etc. . Anytime again!
