Nice, comfortable, and clean, with very pleasant staff. When we ate at the restaurant they said they didn’t accept cash, so we had to tap and pay and were charged a surcharge for doing it. If you’re not going to take cash, absorb the surcharge yourself. Aside from that, the food and drinks were good.

Great location. Keys were left in the key safe because we were running late. There were big holes in the fly screens, so bugs flew around our room. The balcony isn’t big enough to fit a table on.

The bathroom was recently renovated and very nice. Continental breakfast was poor—no coffee machine, just the cheapest instant coffee sachets; only toast or cereal packets were offered. The bed mattress was broken/worn out. Communal rubbish bins were not emptied daily. Reception smelled of stale cigarette smoke because the manager was smoking in the office. The food items and groceries for sale in reception were laughable. I had to repeatedly ask for the after‑hours code to access the room key due to a late arrival.
