The man behind the desk was nice, but the room had no air conditioning and everything was primitive.

The location was excellent, close to the pebble beach with larger pebbles than usual in France, and near restaurants for a good dinner, a night out, or a typical local breakfast. The facilities were a bit dated, which explains the still reasonable price for the guests; it seems to be gradually being renovated (some parts are under a cover), which will likely raise prices in future seasons.

The location and cleanliness were good, but the air conditioner stopped working without notice; after pointing it out, the staff replied angrily that there was a fan and that it had broken two days earlier. They gave me a different room, probably because I booked through Booking and they didn’t like the price; that room had been vacant for a long time because the bathroom water was brown. The reception staff was rude, while the rest of the team was very friendly.
