The mattress was uncomfortable for the price I paid, the tissue box was empty, there was no spare toilet paper roll, and I was very disappointed with the room.

“We were in and out very quickly”

The hotel was the closest to the Charlevois train station and Montmorency Falls, which are outside the city. It was reasonable and well‑located for my travel plans.

The location, free parking, the roomy room, the comfy bed, the view of the Saint Laurent from our room, and the welcome at arrival were all great. The breakfast area, despite its beautiful view, suffered because staff didn’t keep the tables clean—every table was dirty, we had to ask someone from the front desk to come and clean them, and they only cleaned one. A sugar pot was left on the floor and never picked up, and the buffet wasn’t restocked (no fruits, for example). The fridge in the room was very noisy.

Nothing positive! It fell far below basic hygiene standards—nails were on the bed, the sheets and bathroom were dirty! I told reception about the nails, and they just said sorry! The reality is the complete opposite of the online reviews.
