The reception was friendly, the accommodation a bit unusual but very clean and quiet. The place felt welcoming with hammocks, a separate smoking area, a tree terrace, a motorbike rental option, and free water and coffee. That’s the vibe I love. The only downside is that you need a way to get around.

The family was very warm and the host’s friends were welcoming. Everything was spotless, the bed super comfortable, breakfast tasty, and coffee and water were free. Laundry was done within one day and returned spotless and smelling fresh. I highly recommend this homestay. It’s close to the main road yet stays quiet at night. Nothing was lacking.

The dorms were clean and well maintained. There’s a cozy gathering spot on the patio, and a food court just a minute’s walk away. It’s a bit far from the dive shops, but I rented a scooter for 350 pesos and had a fantastic time.
