Residence zum Löwen sits 200 m from Lake Lucerne and a ten‑minute walk from the train station, within minutes of the Lion Monument, Bourbaki Panorama, Old Town, Chapel Bridge and KKL. Six rooms per floor share two bathrooms; apartments feature en‑suite baths and kitchens. A bar serves Tuesday‑Saturday, and staff provide local dining recommendations. Check‑in occurs at nearby Hotel Luzernerhof.

The place is quiet and calm, which is a plus. The room itself was okay, but the furniture was pretty worn out and the bathroom was outside the room, which felt a bit inconvenient.

The location is solid, but the rest of the place was a nightmare. The equipment was terrible, and the biggest shock was the mess—dirt on the floor, trash in the cabinets, lights and sockets not working. The building just didn’t feel comfortable, and for the price it was a huge letdown.

The room was a beautiful, spacious area—perfect for a large group. The downside? The parking fee of €30 was mishandled, and the refund is still pending. They seem to have financial issues, and I haven’t gotten my money back yet.
