There is nothing to like about this property. I stayed at Haneda Artistic House on 19 October 2026 and the experience was extremely disappointing. A strong, unpleasant, rotten smell kept me from sleeping all night. The entrance opened into a shared living area where another guest slept behind simple fabric curtains, giving almost no privacy. The wooden staircase was extremely narrow, about a foot wide in places, making it hard and potentially dangerous to carry heavy luggage to the upper‑floor rooms. The upstairs rooms were in very poor condition, with thin wooden partitions, inadequate privacy, and concerns about the safety of personal belongings. The bed and mattress were damaged and uncomfortable, and I even injured my toe on the bed. The bathroom was cramped, with not enough space to stand comfortably and a risk of hitting my head on the surrounding structure. The toilet lacked the bidet or washing function I expected, and the shower facilities were outdated and disappointing. I attached photographs showing the room layout, curtain partitions, narrow staircase, bathroom facilities, and overall condition. Even if this accommodation is offered for only five to ten Japanese yen, or even for free, I strongly advise international travelers—especially Muslim travelers—not to stay here. I request an investigation, a review of whether the listing accurately represents the accommodation, and consideration of a refund or appropriate compensation. I also warn other travelers, particularly those with luggage, to avoid this property based on my experience.
