The flat is in a superb spot and it feels roomy and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant. The only hassle was getting a response from the manager – they eventually got back to me, but it took far too long. All in all, the place still has a charming vibe despite the communication lag.

Gratty, the guy running the place, was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome. The room itself, however, was cramped, the mattresses were firm, and it could have been cleaner. We also missed basic hotel touches like a mini‑fridge, hair dryer, or a common lounge, which felt odd for a place called Nature Hotel.

Communication before arrival was spot‑on, with clear info about the location and laundry, and the host rushed over to fix a blocked toilet right away. He also swept most of the ants that slipped in through the patio doors, and even helped with luggage after checkout. On the flip side, the constant traffic noise through the large vented doors made it hard to sleep, and the bathroom never got the promised cleaning despite a three‑night stay.

This family‑run spot felt welcoming from the start, with Gatty answering all our questions and even sorting the mountain‑bike payment. The room was clean and spacious, and after we checked out they let us store our bags and use a shower at a nearby location. They also point out a decent‑priced breakfast at the other site, which we missed but would have liked. Everything else was spot‑on.
