“A beautiful hidden gem boutique hotel,well appointed with the best front of house staff.”

The boutique hotel was comfy, and Tom was the friendliest front‑desk person you could wish for. He helped with our bags, arranged airport pickup, and gave great attraction tips. The only thing was the short time we could stay before moving to another part of Vietnam.

The hotel was very clean and lovely. The staff were all very friendly. I stayed for a short transit in Hanoi and used the hotel for a round‑trip. Early check‑in was at 10 am, and they also kindly accommodated a midnight 0 am checkout. As the name suggests, Train Street is just a walk away, and the free VPBANK is nearby, so the location is perfect if you’re touring the Old Quarter. The only downside was that the hotel is about 100 m back from the main street, and carrying several large suitcases made getting on and off Grab difficult. On the way back, the car I had booked didn’t show up, so the staff called to find it. It’s a hospitality‑focused hotel, so you won’t worry if something happens, but be careful with transportation arrangements.

The spot is right next to the famous train street, just a short walk away, which I liked. The place feels very dated and clearly needs a makeover; the photos were old and the room looked worn, which was misleading. It’s tucked into a back alley, so it felt a little sketchy for me as a solo female traveler, and it’s not on the main street, making it hard to locate. I had booked an airport transfer through the hotel, so they met me at the car and escorted me to the building. There was a guest above me who was stomping around and making a lot of noise late into the night and early in the morning, which was disruptive. I was on the 6th floor, so I wasn’t sure if it was another room above me or something else, but it made sleeping on the second night difficult. The balcony door was completely broken, so I couldn’t lock it. Luckily being on the 6th floor meant I didn’t have to worry about someone breaking in through that door. The bed was extremely firm.

Absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing!!!!! very welcoming and nothing was overlooked. i would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning on our next trip 10/10
