Lil's On The Waterfront

“Worst break I’ve had couldn’t wait to get out of the hotel”

I couldn't find anything good here: the room was dirty, the bed was too small, the sink had a crack, the shower cubicle and toilet seat were cracked, the windows were dirty with chipped paint, and the entrance door was unsafe because of damage.

“Good location but concerns over pre-check in security and urine stench.”

The bed is firm and the place is quiet even though it’s central, but the stairwell smelled like urine for some reason, and checking in before 3 pm meant leaving bags “behind the bar” without a name or tag, which felt insecure.

“Ok, great location and York had a food festival on which was both unexpected and very delicious…”

The location is excellent and the food is good, yet the bedroom and bathroom need a thorough cleaning, and the toilet seat was broken.

The location is the top point, but comfortability and cleanliness were top banana too

“Needs complete refurb would not use or recommend this establishment”

I avoided eating at the hotel because I was very disappointed with the room’s cleanliness, so I assumed the kitchens would be the same, and overall the accessibility to rooms and cleanliness were very poor.
