The location in Chehiterforam is quite remote, with few nearby options, so you’ll need a taxi or ride to reach Monar or other tours.

The private garden and the coffee garden next to the hotel were nice, and the staff were courteous and quick to respond. However, the hot water system was lacking because the room uses solar heating, so the water takes a long time to warm up and the total supply is only enough for one person.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The staff were so friendly, helpful, and the food was tasty; we ate most of our dinners here and they always catered to the kids’ tastes. The room was clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view of the tea fields—nothing beats waking up to that scenery. I must highlight the receptionist who went above and beyond. It turned out that the third night we booked through Booking was a smaller room without breakfast, but he kept us in the same family suite and covered the breakfast for us. A charming person. On the downside, the location is a bit of a drawback: Chithirapuram is a town about a half‑hour drive from Monar and 10 minutes from Anchal, and it has very few services, restaurants, and shops within a 10‑minute walk from the hotel. It’s easier to catch a cheap rickshaw from the town center than from the hotel itself.
